Two years in the making, this one was meant to be Vol.III of the Leishman Songbook, completing the trilogy, but it has turned out as much instrumental as vocal – although as always, narrative based – this time from the chamber music corner of my brain.  Looking for transparency, it’s been a real pleasure discovering this music with the quartet, and the recording by John Kilgore, mastered by Bob Ludwig, is gorgeous.
